Applying for Vietnam visa in Vietnam Embassy
To apply for Vietnam visa in Vietnam embassy, you have to come to the nearest embassy to complete the procedures. You must submit the following documents to apply for a visa to Vietnam.

Here are a few basic details that you must follow during the visa application process to prevent any rejection. You must give the exact name as in your passport for the visa application process. Fill in your date of birth accurately. Mention your country and the date of entry and exit accurately. Enter the passport number exactly as written in your passport and it must be valid for at least six months from the date of entry. Have your children’s own passport with you if you are travelling to Vietnam with them, and you must pay the same Vietnam visa fee as adults. You must pay the stamping fee for the Vietnam visa only in cash. No credit or debit cards will be accepted. Depending on the type of the Vietnam visa you are applying for, the Vietnam visa fee will be varying.
The Australians, who are willing to apply for e-Vietnam visa can visit the website of Vietnam Immigration Department, apply for e-visa, make the payment online, and get visa approval online. This procedure takes three or more days to complete. If your application gets rejected by the government, no repayment will be made.
E-visa can be applied by the Australian citizens who travel to Vietnam for leisure only. This e-visa is applicable for single-entry only and will be valid for 30 days at maximum.
